Daniel quoted “Around 6 years back, the door access control system was installed in the college to protect students and maintain security. We installed the door access control systems along with Millennium DCD boards at the student housing, and one day the building caught fire overnight. The fire was so bad that they could only control it by around 6 am in morning. The next day, I went there to inspect the damage done to my access control units thinking I’ll have to replace them now.” So when I went downstairs, there was basically ankle-deep water and some water was running down the walls all over. Then I opened my access control box and to my surprise, what I saw next was unbelievable. I find the system still flashing lights and the boards were functioning. I got permission from the authority to take the board out and recover them. I powered everything down, took it out of the building. People on site were also surprised and some doubted how these boards can recover. And I am at the same time thinking to myself that these boards are like rocks and they are going to work because I know the manufactures. So, I let the boards dry out for a couple of days, and decided to reinstall it again to check if they were still functioning and amazingly they worked perfectly well!” says Locksmith Express’ President. So today, the college building is still using the hardware that I recovered after the fire and the university is happy about it, mentions Mr. Daniel.
