I’m facing some difficulty with retrofit sizing. Does your product provide a solution to mounting on competitor housing/brackets or will I need a complete replacement?
Competitor sizing is almost exact match. Customizable sizing fits are available for retrofits and can be scaled for large project implementation.
Retrofit conductors. Can I connect new readers with competitor cabling?
Yes, we have a new 4 wire configuration for exact match to competitor cabling.
Is there a need for a fire alarm input?
Yes, the fire alarm panel has relay outputs that can be connected to our system for control of doors during an fire alarm situation (same as competitors).
Is there an option to prevent the storage of card numbers?
Yes, there is the option to prevent the storage of card numbers to store only the last 4 digits and mask the rest.
How do you test the skimmer detection?
Place piece of black tape over any/all 4 reader sensors to see immediate change in light setting and skimmer alarms in software.
How does the ARP/MAC into panel for IP reset work?
Yes, IP can be changed by the utility in our software. MAC address can only be Factory set by Synergistics using specific customer supplied MAC addresses.
Are panel configurations saved in the database? Can you compare stored configuration with panel configuration?
Yes, we keep the panel configuration in the database. No, configuration comparison is currently not available but may be provided.
Is the software designed for single installation on shared drive?
No, software currently only serves as single client server install.
Can the software on shared drive be used by multiple users simultaneously?
Yes, we keep the panel configuration in the database. No, configuration comparison is currently not available but may be provided.
How does licensing work? User, computer or panel?
Software is licensed by computer. License defines how many sites can be connected to this software.
